The Shogun is 90’ in length and features a 30’ beam.
This exceptionally wide beam affords passengers a huge deck area and a much more stable fishing platform.
The leadership skills of Captain Rene Monteagudo has brought a new level of professionalism to
the Shogun operation. The Shogun team will provide you with the ultimate in service on your fishing vacation.
Gear & Tackle Suggestions
Tackle requirements will vary, depending on your choice and length of trip. We suggest that you request a tackle list when you make your reservation, or you can download from our website. For those of you joining us, but feel you do not have the proper tackle, consider taking advantage of our “show package.” For a small line fee, we
offer a complete package of rods and reels. Terminal tackle is also available onboard at Tackle store prices.
Fish & Game Regulations
Both Mexican Fish & Game and California Fish & Game prohibit the sale of sport caught fish. We consider this a serious issue, and we will assist in the prosecution of any passenger doing so. Every offense jeopardizes
our strong relations with the Department de Pesca in Mexico.
Reservations & Payment Policy
Call and talk to one of our friendly office staff, who will assist you in planning your long-range adventure. Once your reservation has been made, a 50% deposit is required, within 10 days, to confirm your spot and stateroom request. All reservations are considered tentative until a 50% deposit is received. Reservations will
be cancelled if deposit is not received within 10 days of reservation.
Cost of Mexican Fishing Permits are not included.
Fuel Surcharge & Cost of Mexican Permits: Should there be a substantial increase in the cost of
Marine diesel fuel, or Mexican Fishing Permits, we may find it necessary to impose a surcharge.
Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy
If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, for whatever reason, call our office ASAP so we can get to work filling your spot. Email cancellations will ONLY be accepted after speaking with someone (voicemails do not count as speaking with someone). All refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.
